<![CDATA[How to use a pool like burst.ninja?]]>I am trying to get my head around setting up my wallet, and miner software and I see that I should be using a pool. I am looking to use jminer so it looks like I should probably be using a pool like burst.ninja. However I don't see how to sign up, or the info I need in order to configure this miner etc. Can someone explain how to setup my miner with burst.ninja or if there is a better pool that will work with that jminer client please let me know. Thanks!

<![CDATA[Reply to How to use a pool like burst.ninja? on Thu, 11 Feb 2016 02:41:24 GMT]]>Ninja is a great pool to mine on. Short version, to start mining with a pool you just need to set you reward assignment to that pool, then point your miner at the pool - no signup required.

Longer version, you need to configure the jminer.properties file - something like this:
plotPaths=D:/Test/plots,D:/Test/plots1
poolMining=true
numericAccountId=xxxxx
poolServer=http://burst.ninja
platformId=1
deviceId=0
walletServer=https://wallet.burst-team.us:8125
connectionTimeout=24000

Plot paths is the drive/path to your plot files, numericAccountID is your numeric burst address, platformID and device ID will vary depending on your PC, but will most likely be 0,0 0,1 or 1,0

Better version, come over to http://chat.burst-team.us:3000/channel/general and I can work with you to get it all running.

H.

<![CDATA[Reply to How to use a pool like burst.ninja? on Fri, 12 Feb 2016 02:33:51 GMT]]>Thank you for the reply and the info. I just logged in and posted on the chat a little while ago. I "think" the wallet and the miner are loading and running. However it appears that I need to get some plots. So now I am trying to figure out what plotter I should have for the Mac. Thanks!
